An update on our pre-departure customs clearance process

From 1 March 2023, there is an additional change to pre-departure customs clearance process due to European Union Import Control System (EU ICS2).

Current disruptions and restrictions to international sending

We always deliver as swiftly and safely as we can, but our international services are currently affected by overseas disruptions and restrictions.

1 Savings are subject to a number of eligibility criteria. Savings are calculated based on how many qualifying parcels you send over a rolling 8-week and 12-month periods. To be eligible, you must have a MyPost Business account and use your account when purchasing qualifying parcels and you must meet the volume requirements over the relevant period to get discounts on certain products. Please refer to the terms and conditions for further details on the eligibility criteria.

2 Estimated delivery time between metro areas of major cities. Excludes time in customs if applicable and may be subject to delay due to causes outside of Australia Post's control. For more information, calculate postage and delivery times or check our international post guide.

3 Our services generally  come with up to $100 compensation included. Additional charges apply. Extra Cover provides you with cover for the specified value of your item (up to $5,000 or part thereof) if your item is lost or damaged while being carried by Australia Post. Visit optional extras for more information. Subject to the Australian Consumer Law, Australia Post does not accept liability for any consequential or indirect loss or damage arising due to any failure related to our service. Neither the compensation included with our service nor the purchase of Extra Cover limits any rights or remedies you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.
