Car insurance no longer for sale

Australia Post car insurance is no longer available for purchase. However, if you’re an existing customer, your cover remains, and the service and claims teams are here to support you if you need to get in touch.

Updating your details

It’s important to keep your details up to date so that we can give you the right coverage. Without the most current information, we may reduce or refuse to pay a claim. You’ll need to tell us straight away if you:

  • plan to make any modifications to your car – you'll also need our written consent
  • change your address or bank account details, or
  • plan to replace your car or buy a new one.

You can do this using the online policy manager or by calling 1300 858 747 Monday to Friday, 8am 10.30pm and Saturday 8am-5pm (AEST).

How to make a claim

We make it easy for you to get back on the road as quickly as possible. Our claims team is here to help - no paperwork, and no stress.

You can make a claim online or by calling our 24/7 claims team on 1300 885 996.

Always refer to the Product Disclosure Statement for full details of the cover available.
