1 September 2022
Parcel delivery services to Ireland resumed 1 September 2022.
In September 2021, some parcel services were suspended due to a requirement by Irish customs for a 10-digit HS tariff number (also known as a Taric code) to be included on customs declaration forms.
To ensure your item will be delivered, all articles sent to Ireland must have a 10-digit HS tariff number. If this information is not supplied, items may be delayed or returned to sender.
You can find the correct 10-digit HS tariff number on the Irish Post website. Ensure you use the ‘suitable 10-digit code for IE import’ option.
If you're a business customer using eParcel or Parcel Send, you'll find the 10-digit HS tariff number when completing the goods description for shipment.
