Witnessing signatures

Some organisations require certain documents to be signed in front of a witness. One of the fastest ways to have your signature witnessed is at a participating Post Office.

Have your signature witnessed

Depending on the organisation's specific requirements, we may be able to witness your signature at one of our conveniently located Post Offices. You’ll need to provide photo ID.
This is a free service.

Please note that we don't process forms, verify content or perform identity checks as part of our signature witnessing service. Our staff members also have the right to decline being a witness (at their discretion).

1. Check with the relevant organisation that our Post Office staff are eligible to witness your signature.
2. Present your document and photo ID at the Post Office.
3. Sign your document in front of our staff member, who will then also sign the document as a witness.
