East-West Rail Line closure

Due to damage caused by heavy rain and flooding over the weekend, the east–west rail service between Western Australia and the eastern states has been closed. With further severe weather forecast, the line may remain closed for several days.

Delays are expected for items already in transit; however, where possible, these will be transferred to road transport. Items lodged from 23 February onward will be sent by road.

Delivery disruptions in Queensland

There may be some delivery delays in North and Central Queensland, including the Mt Isa, Cairns, Townsville, Mackay and Rockhampton regions and surrounding areas due to heavy rain and flooded roads. Please note that affected areas are subject to change at any time and we are continuing to monitor the situation.
