Domestic delivery disruptions and service updates

A fire occurred in a delivery truck travelling from Sydney to Perth on 22 November, resulting in delays and damage to some parcels and mail.

Our team is working to assess the impact and re-send undamaged items. Unfortunately, some items can’t be identified or safely recovered.

We’re doing our best to contact senders with more information. If you sent an impacted parcel and haven’t heard from us, call 13 76 78.

Due to changes in third-party carrier (sea freight) shipping schedules, parcels sent to Cocos (Keeling) Islands and Christmas Island must be sent via Express Post to arrive for Christmas. See the Christmas cut-off dates or business last lodgements dates for more information.

A fire occurred in a trailer of a road transport service travelling from Sydney to Adelaide on Thursday 2 October, resulting in delivery delays and damage to some mail and parcels.

Our team have been working to assess the impact and process all undamaged items. Unfortunately, some items on board could not be identified or safely recovered.
