Changes impacting Keypass in Digital iD™ 

As of 1 May 2026, the Australia Post Digital iD™ app has closed and is no longer available for online or in-person verification. 

This means any Digital Keypass or photo ID previously stored in the app is no longer accessible.

The Digital iD™ app is inactive and can be safely removed from your device. All associated personal information will be permanently deleted, in line with strict privacy and regulatory standards. Only non-identifiable audit records are retained for compliance purposes.

Any existing physical Keypass cards remain valid until their expiry.

Please note: Australia Post has not produced physical Keypass ID cards since 30 June 2023. Lost or damaged cards cannot be replaced.
