The following items are prohibited from importation, meaning they won't be allowed to enter the destination country, territory or region.

Timor-Leste’s Ministry of the Interior determines prohibitions. At the date of publication, no prohibitions exist.
Import restrictions
If an item is subject to import restrictions, it means that provisions must be met before it will be released from customs in the destination country, territory or region.

Timor-Leste’s Ministry of the Interior determines special documentation requirements. At the date of publication, no such requirements exist.

Include as much detail about the intended recipient’s location as possible (Timor-Leste does not have a home delivery service). This information will be used for collection purposes. At a minimum, include the recipient's full name and address including street number and street name (if known), as well the community (aldeia), village (suku) and district. The postal code for all of Timor-Leste is: 10000.
Restoration of postal services to Timor-Leste
The Timor-Leste Ministry of Transport and Communications is responsible for postal services. Post Offices are operating in Dili and Baucau. Mail delivery is primarily by means of collection from Post Office Boxes or from the collection counter at Dili’s central postal office in the suburb of Caicoli.
