Import restrictions

If an item is subject to import restrictions, it means that provisions must be met before it will be released from customs in the destination country, territory or region.

We recommend you confirm import restrictions with local authorities before posting:

  • Animals and animal products
  • Bees
  • Firearms and firearm parts
  • Narcotics
  • Pharmaceutical products
  • Photographic sensitive paper or plates
  • Plants, plant products and sub-products and derivatives
  • Plastic tools (files)
  • Seeds
  • War material
  • Weapons and parts of weapons
  • X-ray films.

Special documentation

In addition to our customs forms, authorities in the destination country, territory or region require further documentation for some items.

Customs declarations

Parcels containing non-commercial articles, whose F.O.B. value does not exceed 900 USD may be admitted on the basis of a Customs declaration without the addressee being required to be on the Register of Importers.

Invoices

Items whose contents has commercial value.

Origin of goods attached

Only in the case of goods exchanged in accordance with the Latin American Integration Association (LAIA) or MERCOSUR countries.

Customs dues

Invoice items with non-commercial contents of a value less than 25 USD are not subject to Customs dues.
