How to post your letter

To get your letter on its way ASAP, simply post it over the counter at a Post Office prior to closing time, or in a red street-posting box before 6pm Monday to Friday (check the details on the box just in case, as clearance times can differ, depending on the location).

Items posted on weekends or public holidays will begin their delivery journey the next business day.

Sending rigid items?

Small, inflexible items sent in regular paper envelopes can easily get damaged in our sorting machines.

If you’re sending such items – especially in large volumes – please contact your account manager to discuss design or arrange testing your packaging.

Or, you can email us at MailPresentation@auspost.com.au

Sending Christmas or seasonal greeting cards?

You can purchase a reduced rate Christmas stamp during the months of November and December to send your Christmas and seasonal greeting cards.
