eBay flat rate packaging and postage

eBay satchels can be sent with our standard Parcel Post or Express Post service. Postage not included.

Calculate the cost and time to send your item

Use our online calculator to estimate the postage price and delivery time to send your item, or view our downloadable business postage guides.

1 Our regular parcel service delivers in 2 or more business days. Delivery times will vary depending on lodgement and destination points. For more information on delivery times in your area, view our postage calculator.

Next business day delivery is only available within the Express Post next business day delivery network. The national next business day delivery network operates between capital cities (excluding Darwin; and, for Perth, delivery into the CBD only) and some major centres. Express eParcel is not covered in the Express Post guarantee.

3 Tracking number on barcode is only available if you've used a satchel or have lodged your parcel in-store and have been provided with a receipt. Track advice will only be shown when a scan has occurred. Find out more about our tracking service.

4 eBay packaging is sent via our Parcel Post delivery service. Parcel Post is suitable for sending items up to $100 in value. If your item is valued over $100, you should purchase Extra Cover – it provides loss or damage cover from $100 up to $5000. Parcel Post is not suitable for items over $100 such as jewellery, electronics or passports unless Extra Cover is purchased.

If your parcel is lost or damaged, and you haven’t purchased Extra Cover, compensation of up to $100 and a postage refund may be payable. Subject to the Australian Consumer Law, Australia Post does not accept liability for any consequential or indirect loss or damage arising due to any failure related to our service. Neither the cover included with our Parcel Post service nor the purchase of Extra Cover limits any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.

Additional charges apply. Extra Cover provides you with cover for the specified value of your item (up to $5,000 or part thereof) if your item is lost or damaged while being carried by Australia Post. Find out more about Extra Cover.

Australia Post purchases carbon credits to offset the emissions of its deliveries. Find out more about our commitment to carbon neutral parcel delivery.
