1. The Promotion is called ‘$75 Online saving for new Australia Post Comprehensive Car Insurance’. Information on how to participate in the Promotion forms part of these terms and conditions of eligibility. Participation in the Promotion is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions of eligibility.
  2. The Promoter is Australian Postal Corporation (ABN 28 864 970 579) of 111 Bourke Street, Melbourne, VIC 3000 (APC). Australia Post home and motor insurance is issued and underwritten by QBE Insurance (Australia) Limited (ABN 78 003 191 035, AFSL 239545) (QBE). Australian Postal Corporation (ABN 28 864 970 579, AR No: 338646) is an authorised representative of Australia Post Services Pty Limited (ABN 67 002 599 340, AFSL 457551) which is acting (under its own AFSL) on behalf of QBE.   3. The Promotion Period commences at 5pm on 30 June 2023. Times are local Sydney time.
  4. The Promotion entitles eligible customers to a $75 saving for a new Australia Post Comprehensive Car Insurance policy quoted and purchased online through our Car Insurance web page during the Promotion Period. The $75 saving will be applied to the standard Australia Post Comprehensive Car Insurance premium for the first year of the policy being purchased after all other discounts have been applied. GST and government charges are calculated and payable on this amount.
  5. The Promotion is not available with any other offer and does not apply to the renewal of an existing Australia Post home or car insurance policy.
  6. Customers who purchase their policy by calling Australia Post Insurance number directly, are not eligible for the Promotion, except in circumstances where the Australia Post website refers a prospective customer to the Australia Post Insurance contact centre on 13 70 11 to provide additional information, or the prospective customer calls the Australia Post contact centre to discuss a quote received online, the discount will be applied to the policy quoted if subsequently purchased within the Promotion Period.
  7. A person may use the Promotion multiple times if multiple new eligible insurance policies are purchased during the Promotion Period.
  8. For the purposes of this Promotion, an agreement by a policyholder to enter a periodic instalment plan for a new Australia Post Comprehensive Car Insurance policy is deemed to constitute the purchase of that policy.
  9. A new Australia Post Comprehensive Car Insurance policy must be purchased within the Promotion Period to be eligible for the $75 saving.
  10. Should a customer vary any details on their policy (such as address, vehicle, driver) during their period of insurance, any applicable discount will be recalculated based on the new applicable premium. If a new policy is required to be issued, it will be subject to any discounts on offer at the time of issuing the new policy.
