Are you a concession card holder?

You could be eligible for a reduced rate on domestic postage with concession stamps.

How to post your letter

To get your letter on its way ASAP, simply post it over the counter at a Post Office prior to closing time, or in a red street-posting box.

Monday - Friday clearance times for street posting boxes vary depending on location. Check the details on your local box.

Items posted on weekends or public holidays will begin their delivery journey the next business day.

Sending Christmas or seasonal greeting cards?

You can purchase a reduced rate Christmas stamp during the months of November and December to send your Christmas and seasonal greeting cards.

1 Letters should never contain any rigid or inflexible items such as keys, pens, USBs or CDs as they could easily be damaged by our sorting equipment or torn from the envelope and lost. Items like these should always be packaged correctly and sent as a parcel. View our packaging hints and tips and domestic parcels.

2 These are the performance standards for delivery of letters as required by Regulations made in May 2020 under the Australian Postal Corporations Act.
