Why do I need Pet Insurance?

Did you know that owning a dog or cat can cost up to $1,000 a year? Of these costs, the average vet bills for dogs in Australia are $256 a year, and around $147 for cats^. However, this does not include vet visits for any unforeseen accidents or illnesses your pet may encounter.

Dogs and cats are unpredictable, and accidents can happen. If your pet has an accident or serious illness, you could face thousands of dollars in vet bills.

Pets in Australia also face additional risks like tick paralysis and snake bites in summer, which can result in serious illnesses.

Doesn't every member of your family deserve to be insured for injury and illness? With our affordable pet cover options, you can keep your family healthy and safe - and your household budget in control.
