We've officially opened our largest air and speed parcel facility

Today we proudly opened our largest air and speed parcel facility in Brisbane, Mookin‑Yaba, located at Brisbane Airport.
 
This facility is a major investment in our future, strengthening Express Post and StarTrack Premium services and supports the continued growth of eCommerce for Queenslanders. At 78,000sqm, and with direct airside access and world‑leading sortation technology, Mookin-Yaba will increase speed, capacity and reliability across our network.
 
For our 500 team members who work there, it’s a modern, purpose‑built site focused on safety, efficiency and sustainability, with a targeted 5‑Star Green Star rating. For customers, it means faster processing, up to 250,000 parcels a day, and more consistent delivery performance to help businesses thrive.
 
I’m proud the site carries a dual name in the traditional language of the Yuggera and Quandamooka Nation: Mookin Yaba — ‘Home of the Message Stick’. The smoking ceremony was a meaningful reminder of the importance of recognising and honouring the Traditional Owners of the lands on which we work.
