Australia Post has lodged a draft Price Notification with the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) to increase the BPR for small letters from $1.70 to $1.85, with effect from mid-late 2026.

The Standard and Premium rates for our Unaddressed Mail service (UMS) will increase from 31 October 2025.

17 July 2025

Australia Post will increase the Basic Postage Rate (BPR), up from $1.50 to $1.70, and increase the price for ordinary large letters, effective 17 July 2025.

Australia Post and StarTrack have announced changes to prices and a range of products and services, effective 1 July 2025.
