Ship your items with MyPost Business packaging

Pack items weighing 5kg or under in any qualifying MyPost Business flat rate packaging1, ship within Australia, and you'll pay the flat rate postage. Purchase packaging and pay for postage with your MyPost Business account or at the Post Office.

If you use different packaging, including your own packaging or other Australia Post packaging, flat rate postage doesn’t apply. In this case, postage will be calculated based on your parcel’s weight and dimensions, and the origin and destination of the delivery.

Calculate your postage correctly

Our machines automatically detect if there are any differences between the postage you have paid for shipping your item, and what the correct postage should be. This is to ensure that all customers are paying the correct rate for delivery.

If we identify any items sent with underpaid postage, we’ll notify you of the discrepancies, and send you details on how to view and pay the postage.

Note, you can only declare Australia Post packaging if you are using the qualifying MyPost Business flat packaging items listed above. For any other packaging, including yours or other Australia Post packaging, you must choose ‘your own packaging’ when prompted.1
