7 June 2023: Australia Post has temporarily suspended all postal services to and from Sudan due to civil unrest.

Madagascar
4 April 2024: Since late March, items sent to and from Madagascar may be delayed due to the effects of Hurricane Gamane.

20 October 2023: Items sent to Indonesia may experience delays due to the implementation of new customs regulations for imports.

3 January 2024: Items send to and from certain areas in Japan may experience delays due to recent earthquakes.

Kazakhstan
16 April 2024: Items sent to and from Kazakhstan may experience delays due to severe weather conditions causing flooding in the region.

8 February 2024: Items sent to and from Belgium may experience delays due to planned strikes in the region.

Russia
Australia Post has temporarily suspended all postal services to and from the Russian Federation.

The temporary suspension will remain in place until Australia Post can ensure compliance with all relevant sanctions requirements, and is subject to the availability of transport to and from Russia.

Ukraine
There may be delays to letters and parcels sent to and from the Ukraine due to:

• limited airline capacity
• some postcodes being currently inaccessible
• planned power outages

Israel
19 April 2024: Due to safety concerns relating to airspace, a number of scheduled flights to Israel continue to be cancelled. There may be delays to letters and parcels sent to Israel due to limited airline capacity.

United Arab Emirates
17 April 2024: Items sent to and from the United Arab Emirates may experience some delays due to severe weather conditions in the region.

Peru
31 May 2023: Due to compliance issues with national legislation governing items into Peru, SERPOST is only accepting items transported by air. Sea Mail will be suspended until further notice.
