Country specific disruptions and updates

Canada
27 November 2024:  As advised by Canada Post during the union strike action, we have temporarily suspended all sending services to Canada as of 27 November 2024, excluding International Courier (available at select Post Offices only (PDF 832kB)

International items that have already been sent to Canada between 4-26 November are being held securely by Canada Post, however tracking information from Canada Post may not be available at this time.

Canada Post has advised that it has resumed services and is processing and delivering the existing held items as quickly as possible. However, customers should expect delays as Canada Post works to manage the volume and stabilise operations. Australia Post will continue to monitor and assess the situation daily and will resume services once confident that Canada Post has stabilised its operations.

Items lodged from 27 November will be returned and eligible for postage refund. Please visit auspost.com.au/help or contact our Customer Care Team on 13 76 78.

We thank you for your patience.
