Qantas protected industrial action - potential delays

Qantas Freight and QantasLink ground handling teams are undertaking protected industrial action from the evening of Wednesday 28 October to the evening of 29 October 2026. While we are working closely with Qantas and have recovery plans in place to minimise disruptions, deliveries for some customers may be impacted.
Some Express Post and StarTrack Premium deliveries from Melbourne to Sydney, Perth, North Queensland and Tasmania may be delayed by one day.

Delivery delays at Salisbury South delivery depot, South Australia Post
1 September 2026
Following a fire at an Australia Post equipment depot in Salisbury South, SA there may be minor delays to some letter deliveries in Salisbury and surrounding areas. Express Post and parcel deliveries are not affected. We expect services to return to normal by the end of this week.
No mail or parcels were damaged or destroyed in the incident and contingency arrangements are in place to minimise any impacts to delivery services.
