On 1 July 2025, we’re increasing the prices of the following retail products and services:
- Domestic parcels
- International parcels and letters
- Mail Redirection and Mail Hold services
- Local Pickup and Delivery services
- Photo ID
- MyPost Business rates, which are calculated based on retail prices
- MyPost Business pickup rates
Our retail pricing for all products and services is set out in our Post Charges Guide, which will be available online from 1 July 2025.
We are also updating our agreed rates with the following business customers: eParcel domestic and international, StarTrack. Find out more.
Some product changes will also take effect 1 July 2025. Full details of the upcoming retail changes are listed below.
Domestic parcels
Parcel Post postage costs
On 1 July 2025, we’re increasing Parcel Post postage prices by a weighted average of 1.95%.
Express Post postage costs
On 1 July 2025, we’re increasing Express Post postage costs by a weighted average of 1.52%.
International parcels and letters
On 1 July 2025, we’re increasing the price of international parcels by a weighted average of 3.25% and international letters by a weighted average of 5%.
Mail Redirection
On 1 July 2025, we’re increasing the price of Mail Redirection (domestic and international) by 4.1%.
Mail Hold
On 1 July 2025, we’re increasing the price of Mail Hold services by between 2.6% and 4.6%.
Local pickup and delivery
On 1 July 2025, the Local Pickup and Delivery Service price will increase by 1.95%.

Where total distance travelled is up to 15km (per trip):
- Scheduled delivery or pickup services start from $15.29
- Scheduled delivery service with same time pickup from $15.29
- Ad hoc deliveries or pickups start from $16.31, inclusive of a $1 admin fee
- Combined services (for example, scheduled morning delivery and scheduled afternoon pickup) from $26.51
- Consolidated services (clearing multiple PO Boxes and delivering to a single address) start from $91.35.
Where distance travelled is more than 15km, a surcharge of $1.27 per additional kilometre applies per service, for all services.
Photo ID
On 1 July 2025, the price of photo ID will increase from $21.95 to $22.99. Visit our passport photos and ID photos page for more detail.
MyPost Business
On 1 July 2025, we’re increasing the price of MyPost pickup services by 1.95%.
All retail price changes for parcels will be reflected in MyPost Business rates. However, there will be no changes to domestic and international savings from Band 0 to Band 5.

Return Paid Parcels
From 1 July 2025, the price of our Return Paid Parcels service will increase by 1.95%, and the annual fee will change to $135.00.
Please note:
- The service will no longer be available to new customers
- Existing registered customers can continue to use the service as usual.
Other product changes
On 1 July 2025, we’re also making the following product changes:
- The delivery of Biological Infectious Substances as a ‘Special Service’ will be withdrawn and provided as part of our regular parcel services.
- C4 Prepaid envelopes will be discontinued and only available for purchase instore while stocks last.
- The Print Post Air Carriage Service will be discontinued.
- Clean Mail will be discontinued. Mail previously lodged as Clean Mail can now be lodged as PreSort Letters unbarcoded.
- International Prepaid Satchels will now only be available for purchase instore.
- No new denominations of International Stamps (Sheetlets of 5) will be produced. Existing stock will remain available in-store. This change affects general postage only and does not impact philatelic lines
