Keep up with international shipping regulatory changes

Our complimentary international export tools, provided through our APIs and Parcel Send lodgement platforms, can help you keep up with various international shipping regulations to offer customers a better experience.

For example, new customs compliance rules require the use of accurate HS tariff codes and more shipping information to be captured and sent electronically. Our tools will help you stay on top of these and other changes that may impact you.

Delivering a better international experience

When it comes to the delivery experience offshore, consumers value clear information about delivery charges above anything else.1

Our export tools will help you to offer accurate costs at checkout, along with clear customs shipping information to reduce the risk of delivery delays.

Being clear about costs and unexpected charges up front can help give your international shoppers the confidence to shop with you.

Product classification

Look up and accurately classify items and receive the correct HS tariff code.2

Duty and taxes classification

Enter the tariff code, item value and destination to calculate an estimate of applicable duties and taxes.

Prohibitions and restrictions

You’ll have visibility of potential destination-specific transport, export and import restrictions that may apply to your goods.

These tools are provided across two APIs:

The Export Classification API – look up products in order to get the correct HS tariff code, to help save you the time and hassle of looking through Border Force documents. Using the correct tariff code helps minimise the risk of items being held or delayed when exporting.

The Combined Export Tool API – generate an estimate of the duties and taxes due when your shipment arrives at its destination, along with potential prohibitions and/or restrictions that may apply.
