If you do not already have an Australia Post Business Credit Account, you will also need to complete a Business Credit Account application form.

Secure Accept and Collect includes Extra Cover for your item’s specified value, up to $500. You can add Extra Cover in increments of $2 per $100, or part thereof, of your item’s specified value up to a total value of $5,000.3
Simply purchase any additional Extra Cover at the Post Office when you pay for postage.

There is a gap in the rural/remote WA market and Australia Post was invited to provide a service that meets the legislative requirements. This is an important service for many licensed Australian firearm dealers living in rural and remote locations in WA who do not have another approved carrier they can use. The service is being designed with safety, security and legal compliance as the most important considerations.

- Licensed firearm dealers, manufacturers and repairers will be required to register in order to use the service.
No, lodgement and collection will only be available at specifically designated Post Offices.
Once you register for the service, you will be advised the participating Post Office/s within closest proximity to your preferred location. Alternatively, you may ask at your local Post Office.
Opening hours vary between Post Offices. Standard trading hours are Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. However, some Post Offices may be open shorter or longer hours. Some Post Offices also trade on weekends.
The operating hours for this service may also vary between Post Offices. To avoid disappointment, please contact your participating Post Office beforehand to confirm available times for lodgement or collection. Alternatively, email email@example.com to confirm the service hours available at your participating Post Office.
Yes, the identity of both sender and addressee will be verified at time of both lodgement and collection. Acceptable forms of identity include: Australian drivers licence, International Driver’s License, Australian passport, International passport, KeyPass, Other Proof of Age Card (Government Issued).

Yes. Acceptance (lodgement) and collection notifications will be sent to both the sender and addressee, via both SMS and email. At the time of lodging a parcel, a receipt with the article tracking number, will also be provided.
