Delivering for the future

Our 2030 Sustainability Framework focuses on two areas where we can accelerate change: reducing carbon emissions and keeping resources in use, so we can continue serving communities sustainably into the future.

Keeping more resources in use by 2030

Transforming to a more circular system where we use less, use longer, and use again requires a big shift in how we think about waste and using resources.

We aim to reduce waste by selecting durable materials and products (use less), extending their life through efficient use and maintenance (use longer), and repairing, reusing or repurposing materials to keep them in circulation wherever possible (use again).

By 2030 we aim to:

Reduce waste to landfill by 30% from 2025 baseline

Achieve 80% waste diversion from landfill

Reducing the impact of our packaging range

We’re working to reduce the environmental impact of our packaging while making sure it stays fit for purpose and keeps parcels safe. We consider durability, protection and resource use, and we’re exploring new options that balance outcomes across all three.

Exploring opportunities together

As we build these practices into our operations, we’ll explore how we can help all Australians keep resources in use, using our connections, know-how and data to bring people and businesses together.

We’ll look for new opportunities and share what we learn along the way. Together, we can help make participation in the circular economy easier and close the loop on resource use.
