Service update
We are endeavouring to deliver according to the Priority letters delivery timetable as best we can while subject to ongoing challenges due to the COVID pandemic, including the reduction in domestic flights available to carry mail, temporary closures of some facilities when required, and precautionary self-isolation of our team members in accordance with state regulations.
Further information on how we’re reducing delays, along with current issues affecting our networks, can be found at auspost.com.au/service-updates

When are we open?
Find out about public holiday services.
1 While we endeavour to meet this timetable, the actual delivery speed will depend on where in each state/territory the item is being posted from/to, and the level of congestion in our delivery network at the relevant time. All delivery times are based on the number of business days items take to arrive following the day of posting.
2 Service to township only.
3 Saturday delivery is only available if you post your item on a Friday to an address within the same state in our Express Post Saturday Delivery network and meet the Express Post Saturday Delivery service conditions. This service will not operate on scheduled public holidays. If the public holiday falls on a Friday or Saturday, the next day of delivery (for Express Post items posted before closing time on the business day before the public holiday) will be the next business day after the public holiday.
4 Next business day delivery to roadside addresses or offshore islands is not guaranteed.
5 Service to Mail Centre Post Office Boxes only.
