Dr Jodie Auster was appointed to the Australia Post Board in July 2023. Her current term expires in October 2026.
Jodie has extensive experience working with global consumer technology platforms and has led several start-up businesses to achieve scale in Australia and the U.S.
Jodie is currently the Global Head of Airports and Travel at Uber. Prior to this role, she was Strategic Advisor to the global CEO and led Uber Eats across Asia Pacific as the Regional General Manager.
Previously, Jodie was a Director of Customer Operations and Vice President of People for Thumbtack in San Francisco, General Manager of Scoopon in Australia, and a consultant for Bain & Company in Australia.
She started her professional career as a doctor in the Victorian public health system and trained as an emergency physician.
Jodie is now a non-executive director on the Board of Visit Victoria and was formerly a non-executive director of AMCIL.
