Australia Post arranges the issue of travel insurance as an authorised representative of Travel Insurance Partners (TIP). Under this arrangement, Australia Post facilitates our customer's purchase of relevant insurance, whilst TIP administers and provides the service.
Australia Post provides no operational support for the Travel Insurance product. The product is sold by Australia Post over the counter or online. Australia Post may collect some customer details through online sales, which are passed onto TIP for fulfilment. All transactions are conducted by TIP.
When establishing an account, your personal information will be captured and you may opt in to receive promotional marketing material from Australia Post or TIP.
TIP issues insurance which is underwritten by Great Lakes Australia. Subsequently, your personal information may be disclosed to Great Lakes Australia to fulfil this service.
