Prohibitions

The following items are prohibited from importation, meaning they won't be allowed to enter the destination country, territory or region.

  • Natural and cultured pearls
  • Pork and derivative products
  • Products that contain photogenic or cinematographic functions (e.g. watches, drones, pens, eye glasses with inbuilt cameras)

Import restrictions

If an item is subject to import restrictions, it means that provisions must be met before it will be released from customs in the destination country, territory or region.

We recommend you confirm import restrictions with local authorities before posting:

Special documentation

In addition to our customs forms, authorities in the destination country, territory or region require further documentation for some items.

Addressing

All addresses must contain the full correct country title - Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Authorities may confiscate mail not correctly addressed.

Medicines

Kingdom of Saudi Arabia admits medicines only if accompanied by a medical prescription issued by a competent official authority.

    International Express - Parcels does deliver to a Post Office Box or Poste Restante. Kingdom of Saudi Arabia does not pay compensation for damage to articles containing:
    • Liquids or substances that easily liquefy
    • Fragile items
    • Perishable items.
  • International Registered Post - Letters
    Prohibitions for International Registered Post - Letters includes; coins, bank notes, securities of any kind payable to the bearer, travellers’ cheques, platinum, gold or silver whether manufactured or not, precious stones, jewels or other valuable articles.
