Prohibitions
The following items are prohibited from importation, meaning they won't be allowed to enter the destination country, territory or region.

Import restrictions
If an item is subject to import restrictions, it means that provisions must be met before it will be released from customs in the destination country, territory or region.
We recommend you confirm import restrictions with local authorities before posting:
Morocco requires an import permit for many goods. Before posting any item, senders should confirm that the addressee has any necessary permit or a certificate of contingency issued by the Ministry of Commerce. Senders should determine import restrictions from Moroccan authorities before posting:
- Animals and animal products
- Alcohol and spirits
- Animal or vegetable fats
- Dairy products
- Mineral oils
- Narcotics
- Pearls, precious stones and metals
- Wax and candles.

Special documentation
In addition to our customs forms, authorities in the destination country, territory or region require further documentation for some items.
From 1 July 2022 all goods sent to Morocco that have been purchased on international e-commerce platforms will no longer be exempt from customs duty on imports, regardless of their value.
Non-commercial items received from abroad and valued at 1250 Moroccan dirhams (MAD) or less are not subject to this provision and will continue to be exempt from customs duties.
Commercial goods require an invoice.
