The following items are prohibited from importation, meaning they won't be allowed to enter the destination country, territory or region.

  • Electronic nicotine delivery systems, similar electronic delivery systems, consumables, tanks or cartridges, refill consumable containers and other accessories, heated tobacco products (conventional and herbal), and similar products.

  • Lottery tickets, unauthorised
  • Minerals fuels and oils
  • Massage appliances

Import restrictions

If an item is subject to import restrictions, it means that provisions must be met before it will be released from customs in the destination country, territory or region.

It's also your responsibility to check if the destination country imposes any duties, taxes, brokerage fees or any other fees on the item you're sending. If you're unsure, please contact the consulate office of the destination country.

Special documentation

In addition to our customs forms, authorities in the destination country, territory or region require further documentation for some items.

Articles with a value of more than $US300 require an invoice. Senders should separately post a duplicate invoice to the addressee. Articles with a value of more than $US1000 require a Certificate of Origin.

Poste Restante

Mexico accepts articles for collection at a post office counter only if addressed: Addressee name, occurre, post office name, postcode, city name, Mexico.

  • International Express (carried via the EMS network) - Parcels deliver to all destinations:
    International Express - Parcels delivers to other destinations by local Registered or Express services.
    International Express - Parcels does deliver to a Post Office Box however does not deliver to a Poste Restante.
  • International Express - Letters service available on a non-guaranteed basis
