Product overview
Priority Labels allow you to upgrade to the faster Priority delivery service. Use a Priority Label, together with a postage stamp to have your letter delivered using the Priority delivery timetable.
Australia Post delivers regular letters Australia-wide, with postage determined by size, thickness, and weight.
Using a Priority label in addition to your postage on your letter means it will be delivered to our faster Priority timetable (see below).
This leaflet of Priority labels contains 5 x $0.70 Priority labels, which may be used on letters sent using Australia Post’s regular letters (includes concession stamps), Registered Post, or Domestic letter with tracking pre-paid envelopes.

Letter deliveries have changed
From 15 April 2024, estimated delivery timeframes for regular and priority letters have changed. Please note, letters may be delivered earlier than the timeframes shown on our website as we make progressive delivery model changes across the country through to the end of 2025. Learn more.
Step 1: Calculate the required postage of your letter and apply your postage stamp(s) to the top-right corner of your envelope.
Step 2: Affix a Priority label to the left of your stamp(s) as shown 
Step 3: Post your letter* at any red street posting box or Post Office.

Letters sent at the Regular speed will take 2-3 business days longer than the estimated delivery times above.
*Items posted after the clearance time and on weekends or public holidays are considered to be lodged the next business day.
While we endeavour to meet the above timetable, the actual delivery speed will depend on where in each state/territory the item is being posted from/to, and the level of restrictions and congestion in our delivery network at the relevant time.
All delivery times are based on the number of business days items take to arrive following the day of posting. Monday - Friday clearance times for street posting boxes vary depending on location (check the details on your local box).
