Bib and Bub are celebrating their 100th anniversary of mischief and adventure in Gumnut Town. In 1924, May Gibbs, author of Tales of Snugglepot and Cuddlepie, brought her beloved gumnuts to a weekly comic strip making her the first female comic artist in Australia. Bib and Bub went on to become the longest running comic strip by a single artist in Australia, running for 43 years.
