The Big Wheelbarrow sits at the entrance to the Wedgefield Industrial area and is a symbol of the town's rich mining heritage. Port Hedland is a critical hub for the Pilbara's iron ore industry and the Big Wheelbarrow has been constructed from parts of an iron ore truck.
