Express Post

The Express Post delivery network is the network within which we guarantee next business day delivery for Express Post items.

Outside of this network (PDF 456kB), Express Post items will be delivered as fast as possible using existing transport links.

For guaranteed next business day delivery within the Express Post next business day network, you can lodge your Express Post item in one of our yellow street posting boxes or over the counter at any Post Office before the lodgement cut off time.

Australia Post credit account customers can also call 13 11 18 to organise a regular pick up from their business premises.

Please note: Posting your Express Post item in a red street posting box will delay your delivery and mean that we cannot guarantee next business day delivery.

The price we quote for prepaid Express Post items is all-inclusive. GST is included and there are no additional fuel or security surcharges, account keeping fees or redirection charges. Using Express Post means you will not be hit with any unexpected charges at the end of the month.

For your added convenience, select Express Post items can now be ordered online and delivered to your door.

You can use the Express Post parcel service for the delivery of items up to 22kg, which is the same weight limit for all of our parcels services. The item must also be under 0.25m cubic dimension and 105cm in length.

Our Express Post satchels are suitable for sending up to 5kg and are eligible for If It Packs, It Posts flat postage rates based on size.

Prepaid Express Post items lodged in our yellow street posting boxes must generally be posted before 4pm Monday to Friday (except public holidays).

However, lodgement times are earlier in Perth and some other metropolitan and regional centres so please check the time on the yellow Express Post box.
