Delivery for StarTrack receivers

To get an estimated delivery time for your parcel, use our Transit Time tool if your item is already in transit. 

We suggest you first contact the sender in the event of a lost or damaged item. This is because a sender is best placed to provide you with a replacement item and may have selected Transit Warranty on your delivery. If the sender is unable to assist you, please contact us on 13 23 45.

There are two common reasons why your item may have been taken to a StarTrack depot instead of a Post Office:

• Size or weight restrictions: Some Post Offices cannot accept or hold items that exceed their size or weight limits. In these cases, your item will be taken to a StarTrack depot for collection.
• Sender instructions: The sender may have requested that the item be held at a StarTrack depot if delivery is unsuccessful.

StarTrack is part of the Australia Post Group, and we use both delivery networks to help meet customer needs. Whether your item is delivered by Australia Post or StarTrack depends on the delivery location and operational requirements. As a result, either an Australia Post driver or StarTrack driver may deliver your parcel.

StarTrack is part of the Australia Post Group and delivers some Australia Post parcels. That’s why you may see StarTrack’s blue delivery vans delivering Australia Post items.
