We can only accept cheques issued by participating banks and financial institutions that currently offer cheque services.

Our Post Offices cannot accept cheques issued by financial institutions that have discontinued cheque services. If a Post Office declines to accept a cheque for Post Billpay, please speak to your financial institution about any change in cheque services that may have impacted you.

Whether we can accept part payments for bills depends on whether the biller allows part payments or not.

So, if it’s okay with the biller, it’s okay with us.

The best way to check is to have a look at your bill. It should indicate if the biller accepts part payments. If you can’t find this information on your bill, you may want to check with the biller directly.
