Parcel Lockers Terms and Conditions
Use of this website and the Parcel Locker Service is subject to the:
- Australia Post website terms and conditions;
- Australia Post Terms and Conditions;
- Privacy Policy; and
- Additional Parcel Locker terms and conditions set out below.
Trial only
The Service is being conducted by Us as a trial. It is intended to run for three (3) months but We may decide to change this time period or end the trial at any time. We will advise you by email and SMS when the trial is over. During the trial, the Service will be free for you to use.
Accounts, passwords and security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of the information you hold for your Parcel Locker account, including your password. You are responsible for any and all activity that occurs under your account as a result of you failing to keep this information secure and confidential. You agree to notify Us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account or password, or any other breach of security. You may be responsible for losses incurred by Us or another user of the Service as a result of you failing to keep your account information secure and confidential.
You may not use anyone else's Parcel Locker account or password. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with these obligations.
Supply of information to Us
In order to provide the Service We need to collect and store certain information from you (Supplied Information). You must submit email and telephone numbers as well as other required information to Us in order to receive the Services. You warrant to Us that you have the appropriate authority and consent to provide the information to Us and for Us to use that information in the Service.
Notifications
You will receive notifications sent by Us to your email address and or mobile numbers. An email will be sent to each email address containing a confirmation link. Each subsequent email sent by Us to a confirmed email addresses will have an opt-out link. You may also deselect an email address from receiving notifications at any time. Please note that if you choose not to receive communications from Us, you will not be able to receive the Service.
Instructions
You agree to comply with all instructions and user guidelines supplied to You by Us and any signage at the Parcel Locker location when using the Service.
Delivery information
We will use your registered details to confirm your identity. Where We receive a parcel for delivery to a Parcel Locker where the address detail does not exactly match your registered details We may not be able to confirm your identity. If so, We may not be able to deliver the parcel and you may not receive the full benefit of the Services.
Use of access code and signatures
By using the Service you acknowledge and agree that your signature will not be obtained by Us on delivery of your parcel. You agree that your use of the one-off access code will be evidence of your acceptance, and delivery of, your parcel.
Warranties
Australia Post expressly disclaims all conditions and warranties, express or implied, in respect of the Service. Where the law prevents such exclusion and implies conditions and warranties into this contract, the liability of Australia Post for breach of such condition or warranty is limited at the option of Australia Post to either (i) supplying the Service again; or (ii) paying the cost of having the service supplied again.
Violation of the terms and conditions
You agree that We may, in our absolute discretion and without prior notice, terminate your access to the Parcel Locker application site, or any related site, if We determine that you have violated the terms and conditions associated with the use of the Parcel Locker application site, a related site, or any other Australia Post site.
