Registering for an account has a number of benefits:

  • Your personal details, preferences and parcel tracking information will be in a secure environment, where only you can access them
  • You will be able to use the Customer Number provided for other Australia Post online services, including mail redirections or mail hold
  • It will save you time the next time you need to use any of our secure online services, as we can verify your details quickly
  • We can contact you about your service if required

* Parcel Lockers terms and conditions apply. Collection time limits apply. Fees and charges will apply to carriers other than Australia Post and StarTrack to lodge parcels under the Parcel Locker and Parcel Collect (Post Office) services. This cost may be passed on to customers.

You have 48 hours to collect your parcel once it has arrived at a Parcel Locker or Parcel Collect (Post Office) location. Post Offices will accept parcels up to 22kg and not greater than 105cm in one dimension. Letters and standard mail that can be delivered to your letterbox, including Express Post letters, will not be accepted. Please refer to the full terms and conditions for further details.

Please note: Australia Post will accept domestic and international parcels from other carriers into our Parcel Lockers, if those parcels have been lodged by the carriers as Australia Post articles addressed to the recipients' Parcel Lockers.

StarTrack is a subsidiary of Australia Post, and parcels carried by StarTrack will be accepted for delivery into Parcel Lockers. We have informed other carriers of our new policy and it is up to the carrier to decide if they wish to pay to deliver to the Parcel Lockers. Where possible, customers are advised to check which shipping partners or parcel delivery provider/s are available on the website they're buying from.

Please note: Some of our online retail partners also feature Parcel Lockers as a delivery option when you're finalising your purchase and selecting a delivery address. Simply select your most convenient location and proceed to payment. There is no need to be registered for Parcel Lockers to use the service through an online retail partner.

2. Shop

Use your Parcel Locker address when you are shopping online or arranging for a parcel to be delivered to you.

Other carriers / delivery providers can deliver items to a 24/7 Parcel Locker as long as they lodge the articles into our network and pay for this service.

StarTrack is a subsidiary of Australia Post, and parcels carried by StarTrack will be accepted for delivery into 24/7 Parcel Lockers.

Where possible, you should check with the sender or company you are buying from which delivery providers they use.

Delivery providers who do not wish to lodge your parcel into the Australia Post network for delivery to your parcel locker, should follow current standard procedure for carriers, which is to contact you or the sender to organise alternative delivery or pick-up options.

International items Click to expand Click to collapse

Parcels sent from overseas by that country's designated postal operator (e.g. Royal Mail in the UK) will be delivered into the 24/7 Parcel Lockers.

If the parcel is sent by a carrier other than the country's designated postal operator, the carrier must lodge the article into our network and pay to deliver the item into the Parcel Lockers.
