Post Billpay makes it easy to pay bills quickly and securely. You can pay gas, electricity, phone, council rates, tax, insurance and many more.

Easy ways to pay with Post Billpay

  3. By phone - call 13 18 16 to pay your bills 24 hours a day, 7 days a week1
  4. In person - pay your bills at more than 3,200 Post Offices, over the counter or at one of our new self-service terminals2

Please note that some billing organisations may limit the value of payments or only accept payments from a biller nominated payment method. Payment methods could include Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Diners Club and PayPal.

  1. Go to the Post Billpay website
  2. Follow the step-by-step instructions
  3. Enter the Billpay code and reference number shown on your bill
  4. Enter your credit card, debit card or PayPal details
  5. Enter the amount you'd like to pay
  6. Confirm your transaction and wait for your payment ID number - this acts as your receipt

  1. Call 13 18 16 from anywhere in Australia
  2. Our voice system will guide you through a simple step-by-step process with clear instructions
  3. You'll be asked to enter your 4-digit Billpay code and reference number shown on your bill using your telephone keypad
  4. Enter your credit or debit card details and expiry date
  5. Enter the amount you'd like to pay
  6. Confirm your transaction and wait for your payment ID number - this acts as your receipt

  1. Download the Post Billpay® mobile app onto your smartphone
  2. Touch the 'auspost' App on your smartphone screen and select 'Pay a bill'
  3. Enter the Billpay code and reference the number on your bill
  4. Enter your credit or debit card details
  5. Enter the amount you'd like to pay
  6. Confirm your transaction and wait for your payment ID number - this acts as your receipt

  1. Visit your nearest participating Post Office
  2. Check your bill has the Post Billpay® logo with a Billpay code
  3. Take your bill into any participating Post Office and we'll process your payment over the counter via cash, cheque, EFTPOS, credit card or debit card
  4. You'll be given a receipt as proof of payment for your record

1 Australia Post accepts many methods of payment including credit card, charge card, cash, cheque, EFTPOS and scheme debit cards for Post Billpay payments based on the requirements of the billing organisation.

2 EFTPOS is not available at some smaller outlets. Minimum purchase available is $10.00. Bank transaction fees may apply.

3 Mobile phone calls will be charged at mobile phone rates.
