Please note organisations must be nominated by an Australia Post team member to be considered for the program. Once successfully nominated, the Australia Post Grants Team will reach out to nominated organisations with details on how to apply.

Not-for-profit organisations working to make a difference in their community through projects that align with Australia Post’s Community focus areas may be eligible for nomination. Read the 2026 People of Post Grants Guidelines (PDF 8.7MB) for full eligibility criteria.

Literacy

Bunurong Elder Trish Neville from Aboriginal Learning and Earth Connections

Project: Wildlife Carers Support Project 

Amount funded: $2,000

“We provide education, support carers, and promote native fauna conservation. With the Australia Post Grant we have been able to continue to provide our carers with subsidized food for the animals. This greatly assists carers who pay for all food, vet bills and supplies for the animals that they are caring for.”
