Parcel pickup terms and conditions

Parcel pickup terms and conditions

Terms of use

These Parcel Pickup Terms and Conditions are 'Additional Terms' as defined in the MyPost Account Terms of Use that apply to your request for and our provision of, the Parcel Pickup Service.

Unless specified otherwise in these Terms and Conditions, capitalised words have the same meaning as set out in the MyPost Account Terms of Use.

Each time you submit a request for the Parcel Pickup Service, or cancel a request, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set out in:

(a) these Terms and Conditions;

(b) the MyPost Account Terms of Use;

(c) the Australia Post for Small Business App Licence Terms; and

(d) the Australia Post Terms and Conditions.

Unless otherwise stated in these Terms of Use, if there's any inconsistency between any of the above documents, the earlier mentioned document will take precedence to the extent of that inconsistency.

1. Availability of the Parcel Pickup Service

1.1 The Parcel Pickup Service is only available to holders of a MyPost Account using the Australia Post for Small Business App.

1.2 Pickups using the Parcel Pickup Service will only be made from premises which are clear and readily accessible, which are free from obstacles and hazards and at which any dogs are restrained.  Australia Post reserves the right at its absolute discretion to refuse to pick up parcels from any premises which, on reasonable grounds are unsafe, inaccessible or otherwise unsuitable.

1.3 The Parcel Pickup Service is only available for parcels which are labelled with a scannable barcode ordered using Australia Post’s Online Sending Service, which are suitably and adequately packed, and which weigh less than 16 kilograms.

1.4 The Parcel Pickup Service is not available for the consignment of any Dangerous or Prohibited Goods. It is your responsibility to assess whether the contents of your parcel are, or may be, classified as Dangerous or Prohibited Goods.
