Registered Post B4 prepaid envelopes give you extra peace of mind with a signature on delivery when sending important mail within Australia that weighs less than 500g. 

The charge for Registered Post prepaid envelopes includes the Registered Post fee, tracking and postage.

Our standard Registered Post service offers:

  • Proof of posting when lodged at an Australia Post retail outlet
  • A signature obtained on delivery
  • Compensation for loss or damage of up to $100
  • Online delivery tracking^

  • Dimensions: 353mm x 250mm
  • Weight: up to 500g
  • Thickness: up to 20mm
  • Suitable for sending: Important letters, non-fragile or flat and flexible items, including photos, certificates, tickets, gift cards
  • Not suitable for sending: Rigid items such as keys and USBs. Sending these items may result in loss or damage, delays in delivery and/or missing track event scans.


Suitability of service: 
This service is not suitable for sending items valued over $100. If you are sending higher value items, you should purchase Extra Cover which provides loss or damage cover from $100 up to $5,000. Extra Cover cannot be purchased from the Online Shop (as the cost of Extra Cover depends on the value of the item being posted). Ask to purchase Extra Cover at your post office before you send your item.

Unless required by law, we do not accept liability for late delivery or any consequential or indirect loss or damage. If your parcel is lost or damaged, compensation of up to $100 and a postage refund may be payable.

Extra Cover and any compensation offered under the Australia Post Terms and Conditions are in addition to any rights and remedies you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.

Compensation

Australia Post will exercise due care and skill in supplying this service. However, the nature of postal services is such that circumstances may impact on the successful delivery of your article.

Compensation – standard

The expected maximum value of the contents of the standard Registered Post is $100. In the event of loss or damage to your article, we may provide you with compensation of up to $100 in total value, which is included as part of the Registered Post service, in addition to postage charges incurred (conditions apply^).  

Compensation – standard plus Extra Cover

In addition to the above standard compensation, Extra Cover may be purchased for items valued over $100 and up to $5000 in total value (conditions apply^^).

You may also have additional rights to a remedy under Australian Consumer Law.

DO NOT USE this envelope to send rigid items, such as keys and USBs, as sending these items may result in loss or damage, delays in delivery and/or missing track event scans.

Christmas Sending Dates

We recommend shopping as early as you can, and no later than the dates below, to give your order the best chance of arriving in time for Christmas. 

  • Anywhere in Australia (except Perth and Darwin): Shop by Monday 13 December for Parcel Post, or Monday 20 December for Express Post.  
  • Perth and Darwin: Shop by Wednesday 8 December for Parcel Post, or Wednesday 15 December for Express Post.  

Dispatch timeframes

We aim to dispatch most orders within 2-7 business days of receiving your order. Some products, like personalised stamps, have a longer dispatch time. Any special dispatch and/or delivery times will be specified on the product page.

Standard delivery is free Australia-wide on orders $30+

For orders under $30, a $5.00 flat fee applies for processing and handling. The estimated timeframe for standard delivery is 3-10 business days. The actual delivery speed will depend on where the item is being posted from/to, and the current volumes in our delivery network at the time of posting.

Express Post guarantee suspended

Express Post remains our fastest delivery option, but current circumstances mean we can't guarantee next-business-day delivery at the moment.

Parcel Locker and Parcel Collect deliveries

If you’ve chosen to have your order sent to a Parcel Locker or Parcel Collect address, you’ll receive an SMS and/or email notifying you when your item is ready to pick up.

International delivery

Our returns policy

If there’s a problem with a product you have purchased from our Online Shop, you can return the item within reasonable time after purchase. You can choose between an exchange, repair, replacement or refund.

This includes when a product:

  • is faulty
  • is incorrectly described on our website
  • is different from a sample shown
  • doesn’t do what we said it would, or
  • isn't of acceptable quality.

We don’t offer change-of-mind returns on most of our items, as most of them can’t be resold.
