Delivery within Australia
This single-use, prepaid envelope includes postage for lodgement and delivery within Australia.
The envelope must not exceed 125 grams or 5mm in thickness when posted.
The envelope is carried under the Australia Post General Terms and Conditions and is subject to the Domestic letter with tracking Terms and Conditions.
The envelope will be delivered to the regular delivery timetable (for letters), unless the customer has purchased and affixed a priority label on the prepaid envelope, in which case, the envelope will be delivered to the priority delivery timetable (for letters).
This single-use, prepaid envelope has a unique identification number that enables tracking scans as the envelope progresses through the Australia Post network.
The number of tracking scans will vary depending on how and where the envelope is lodged, processed and delivered.
The envelope may receive a tracking scan:
- on lodgement, if lodged over the counter at any Post Office with electronic point of sale or handheld scanner;
- at a processing facility, if processed by automated mail processing equipment; or
- on delivery, where a tracking scan can be captured.

Australia Post will exercise due care and skill in supplying this service. However, the nature of postal services is such that circumstances may impact on the successful delivery of your article.
Compensation – standard
The expected value of the contents of the standard Domestic letter with tracking service is $100. In the event of loss or damage to your article, we may provide you with compensation of up to $100 in total value, which is included as part of the Domestic letter with tracking service, in addition to postage charges incurred (conditions apply^).
Compensation – standard plus Extra Cover
In addition to the above standard compensation, Extra Cover may be purchased for items valued over $100 and up to $500 in total value (conditions apply^^).
You may also have additional rights to a remedy under the Australian Consumer Law.
IMPORTANT: This envelope should NOT be used to send items with a total value exceeding $100. If items exceed $100 in value, we recommend you purchase Extra Cover.
DO NOT USE this envelope to send rigid items such as keys and USBs as sending these items may result in loss or damage, delays in delivery and/or missing tracking scans.
