The stamps in this issue illustrate just why Australia’s vast, magnificent and diverse landscape is so revered and mythologised. The large-format stamps feature aerial photography to present abstracted pictorial spaces that are recognisably landscapes but which also express a painterly quality. Christian Fletcher photographed Shark Bay, Lake MacDonnell and Wyadup Rocks on a digital Phase One IQ280 80 mega pixel camera, and Richard Woldendorp shot Cape Capricorn on an analogue camera, a Pentax 6x7 camera, using Ektachrome 100 film.

On sale from 5 November 2018 from 8:30am (AEDST), while stocks last.
