The 80 Years of Bugs Bunny stamp pack comprises a sheet of 12 x $1.10 stamps using the Decorative Frame template from the new MyStamps range and featuring Bugs Bunny in various poses.

The 80 Years of Bugs Bunny stamp pack celebrates 80 years of Warner Bros.’ cheeky, carrot-chomping animated rabbit Bugs Bunny.

The cheeky trickster Bugs Bunny turns 80 in 2020. The iconic cartoon rabbit made his official debut in the 1940 animated film A Wild Hare, where he appeared alongside the foe he loves to torment, the hapless hunter Elmer Fudd.

Voiced originally by Mel Blanc, and credited to several visual creators, Bugs is known for his distinctive New York accent and the catch phrase “Eh … what’s up, doc?” This carrot-chomping, buck-toothed, grey and white rabbit is a household name, beloved for the irreverent and madcap antics he employs to avoid capture by Fudd.

Bugs is best known for his starring roles in the Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies series of animated shorts, though he has also appeared in feature films, television series, music recordings, comics, video games and more. Bugs Bunny has his own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and is the official mascot of Warner Bros. Entertainment. Not bad for a “wascally wabbit!”
