The following items are prohibited from importation, meaning they won't be allowed to enter the destination country, territory or region.

Refer to France. In addition, French Guiana prohibits:

- Batteries
- Bullion and currency
- Blank forms
- Cash
- Cosmetics
- Foodstuffs
- Gambling devices
- Ivory
- Jewellery, costume
- Labels
- Liquids, non-hazardous
- Precious stones and metals
- Pornography
Perfume is prohibited under International Express.
Batteries
All types of batteries and devices containing them are prohibited from being sent via International Express.
Import restrictions
If an item is subject to import restrictions, it means that provisions must be met before it will be released from customs in the destination country, territory or region.
We recommend you confirm import restrictions with local authorities before posting:
Import restrictions are the same as France. In addition, senders should determine import restrictions from French Guiana authorities before posting:
- Coffee or parts of coffee plants
- Cacao or parts of cacao plants
- Sugar cane or parts of sugar cane plants.
