Import restrictions

If an item is subject to import restrictions, it means that provisions must be met before it will be released from customs in the destination country, territory or region.

Eswatini requires an import permit for many goods. Before posting any item, senders should confirm that the addressee has any necessary permit. Senders should determine import restrictions from Eswatini authorities before posting:

Gifts

Genuine gifts not exceeding 10 emalangeni in value and 5 kg in weight do not need an import permit.

    Eswatini does not have a delivery service for parcels. The addressee collects the parcel from a post office.
