Using your card

Making a purchase

When making online purchases:

  • Enter the 16 digit card number and expiry date on the front of the card 
  • If you're asked for the CVV number, this is the 3 digits on the back of your card in the signature panel 
  • If you're asked for a cardholder name, enter "Gift Cardholder"

When making in-store purchases:

  • Select CR (credit) 
  • Sign your purchase receipt 
  • Each time you use your card the purchase amount is automatically deducted from your card balance

Checking your balance

You can check your balance or transaction history anytime - online, over the phone or by SMS.

  • Online: Check your balance and transaction history for free 
  • Phone: Call 1300 882 094 for the free automated voice service or to speak with a customer service representative ($4 fee applies) 
  • SMS: Text "POST BALANCE" followed by your 16 digit card number (on the front of your card) to 0457 777 678 (0457 77 POST) ($0.25 fee applies).
    Include the spaces as follows: "POST BALANCE 1234567812345678".
    Please ensure you have not blocked caller ID when you do this.

Make sure you know your card balance before you shop. If you try to purchase an item of greater value than your card balance, your transaction will be declined.
