With over 3,200 outlets to choose from, that makes it easy to make deposits or withdrawals and pay your bills, while you also organise your mail or pick up some stationery.

With Bank@Post you can use your credit or debit card from over 70 participating bank or financial institutions for:

Rural Bank and Australia Post

Australia Post and Rural Bank are working together to provide reliable and convenient value for money banking services.

You can now open a range of Rural Bank personal banking accounts at participating Australia Post retail outlets. Once your Rural Bank account is open, you can make deposits and withdrawals, and check your account balance at any Australia Post retail outlet displaying the Bank@PostTM symbol1.

Or, if you prefer to manage your personal banking online, you can open a Rural Bank ONE account, Rural Bank's range of competitively priced online savings and term deposit accounts.

Who can use Bank@Post?

If you have an account with any of our participating banks and financial institutions, you can use Bank@Post. All you need is:

  • a personal account with one of the financial institutions that offer banking through Australia Post
  • a plastic transaction card
  • a Personal Identification Number (PIN).

If you deposit a cheque through Bank@Post, it may take longer than three days to be cleared by your financial institution. To find out the number of clearance days required, please contact your financial institution.
