Notify Organisations service

To safeguard your mail, Australia Post will need to verify your identity before we can process your Notify Organisations service application.

Additionally some organisations require verification of your identity before they can update your new address details on their databases.

When ID is not required
If you were the person who lodged the original Mail Redirection application, then you will not need to provide further proof of identity when completing your Notify Organisations service application.

When ID is required
If you were not the lodger of the mail redirection, but are listed on the redirection application, you will need to provide proof of identity within the Notify Organisations service application.

Acceptable forms of ID
The following forms of ID are accepted when applying through our secure online verification system. Details for at least two of the following identification sources must be provided:

  • Driver's licence
  • Australian electoral roll
  • State electoral roll
  • Phone book
  • Australian Passport
  • Medibank Private Health Insurance
  • Tax File Number
