If your service has already expired, you'll need to apply for a new mail holding or redirection service.
Both business and personal customers can apply online to extend your mail redirection or holding service.
Do you need to cancel or alter your Mail Redirection or Mail Holding service(s)?
If you'd like to cancel your mail holding or mail redirection service, we may refund you a proportion of your payment. Cancellation fees may apply.
You will need to complete an Alter or Cancel Form and lodge it in person at an Australia Post retail outlet. Please bring a copy of your original application, with the receipt attached, and the required proof of identity.
Do you need to change any names on your service?
If you'd like to add or remove names from your service, you will need to complete an Alter or Cancel Form and lodge it in person at an Australia Post retail outlet. You can also use this form at any time during your service to change spelling, address details or dates.

How do I change my Mail Redirection to a different address?
If you wish to change your Mail Redirection service to a different address, you must cancel your existing service and lodge a new application. Cancellation fees apply. Please refer to the refunds table.
Who can make changes to my Mail Holding or Mail Redirection service?
Alterations and cancellations can only be made by the person who lodged the original application. If you cannot do so (for example, if you are overseas) you can give written authority to another person to make changes on your behalf.
Any person can add or remove their own name or that of their dependent aged under 18 years (if they have the necessary authority).
We may ask to see this written evidence.
