Environmentally friendly products
We are continuing to make significant progress in ensuring our Postpak range is environmentally friendly.
- Australia Post has introduced 15% recycled content into bubble wrap products as well as the caps used in our mailing tubes (the mailing tube itself is made of 100% recycled fibre).
- Padded bags now have a minimum 60% recycled fibre content and 20% recycled plastic content in the bubble lining.
- All Postpak mailing boxes have 66% recycled fibre content.
- Most of the Postpak product range is 100% recyclable at the end of its useful life.
- Australia Post's mailing products (including Postpak, Express Post and Parcel Post bags) are made using 30% recyclable content.
